As a vertically integrated manufacturer we knit, sew, dye board, label, package and ship our products in house to ensure absolute control over product quality. Our ability to make quick pattern changes also enables us to respond more rapidly to changes in the market place, giving us faster lead times and more responsive service than overseas hosiery producers. The average turnaround time from receipt of pattern to production is two weeks.
The company was started in 1907 in Russia by Yuri Babayan, President and CEO. In 1988 the company was given to his grandson, Serge Babayan who is currently the President and CEO. While in Russia, Serge Babayan was able to run a successful hosiery manufacturing business. He then relocated to the United States in 1997 and began his hosiery business with 12 employees and 8 knitting machines. Now with 200 employees and 150 electronic pattern knitting machines his business is stronger than ever.
Central Carolina Hosiery Mill began selling globally in 1997. We are continually working on developing new styles to meet the ever changing demands of today’s hosiery market. Although much has changed since the beginning, the one thing that has not changed is our commitment to customer satisfaction.
